China IS Manager - Information Technology

Location :   Shanghai HKNW, China

Reports to: IS Director, INVISTA Asia Pacific

Responsibilities:

*  Lead country IT team to deliver IT services to all businesses and Joint Ventures in cost effective and efficient manner whilst aligning with global strategies and guidelines
*  Manage internal resources as well as external vendors in delivering the IT services and products in-country according to service levels and metrics
*  Work with capabilities and business leaders to meet any new demand and requirements
*  Lead FEL efforts for new entities and projects in the China region
*  Responsible for service delivery for the Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou offices
*  Responsible for managing IT service delivery to all Joint Ventures in China (LDZ, Qingdao, Qingpu)
*  Responsible for putting together formal annual Service Level Agreements with the Joint Ventures in China
*  Manages Receipt of Services for China
*  Overall manages and leads implementation of global IT projects locally in China
*  Manages the local/country IS budget
*  Ensuring Corporate Security guidelines relating to ISEC are implemented and adhered to
*  Understand local regulatory policies around all aspects of IT and ensure that the delivery of IT services and products are in compliance   

Skills and Knowledge Required:
Professional with 5-8 years working experience in leadership positions in Information Technology and broad IT technical background
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Very good communication, negotiation, networking and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively and independently with other teams at different levels locally, regionally and globally.
Strong Project management skills. Able to manage and lead project teams with individuals of diverse background (gender, race, nationality and work experience)
Strong leadership to lead and motivate team members in a competitive environment
Ability to negotiate and manage and audit IS vendor relationship and Service Level Agreement metrics.
Knowledge of INVISTA standards and security requirements
Knowledge of China local regulations as it relates to Information Technology

Technical Marketing Representative -  Performance Fibers

Location :   Shanghai HKNW, China

Reports to:  Regional Marketing Manager, Performance Fibers AP

Responsibilities:

*  Actively participate in the development and maintenance of a technical improvement plan for each customer. Plans will be in support of the business plans, the business strategy and account plans, which you will also participate in developing where appropriate.
*  Provide leadership in all customer and plant quality/supply issues. Work with the account manager during any issue which could positively/negatively impact INVISTA’s business with the customer.
*  Actively participate in the scheduled market segment conference calls and the customer interface meetings (CIT).
*  Monitor / report competitive activity / information to the business team.
*  Be involved in the development of an improvement plan for each customer with the account manager. Expectation is that the your time will be spent interacting directly/indirectly with customers on the items that deliver the maximum value to the business as measured by cash flow.
*  Monitor monthly expenses and keep within the profit objective goals and change accordingly if the external environment changes.
*  Using the entire value-adding process, identify opportunities to create value and put plans in place to address. Seek to create win/win solutions with customers.
*  Communicate North American technical development activities to the other regions.  Work with the regions to maximize the value of our airbag business.
*  Mentor technical marketing / technical personnel with less experience.

Skills and Knowledge Required:
*  Have a technology background which enables the resource to quickly learn the nylon 6,6 and polyester manufacturing process and the conversion of fiber to fabric.
*  Able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English
*  Able to effectively build relationship with senior leadership of companies in China
*  Preferably have previous polyester and/or nylon experience
*  BS degree in either engineering or textiles, MBA will be a plus
