Technical Service Specialist - Polymer & Resin Business Unit

Location :   Beijing, China

Reports to: Technical Marketing Manager，China　

Responsibilities:

*  Regularly arrange and lead technical meetings and forums with customers
*  Support and attend trials and new product introductions at customer
*  Apply Good First Impression protocol for all trials, new customers and product
*  Identify new customer technical demand and provide recommended solution or bring in resource from company to expedite the developing process.
*  Make regular visits to all ship-to customer locations
*  Build and maintain customer relationships from plant to senior management level
*  Develop and maintain a working relationship with quality assurance, injection and blow molding personnel and management of  the customer plant
*  Handle and managed all quality and processing related issues from cradle to grave. Work with customer to investigate any quality issues and provide suggestions to customer and or INVISTA for improvement.
*  Coordinate any testing requested by the customers such as for IV, AA, barrier etc.  
*  Conduit for competitive and industry intelligence to the Business.  
*  Act as a liaison representing customer's concerns and interest to INVISTA business units as well as R&D, marketing and manufacturing functions   

Skills and Knowledge Required:
*  Bachelor or master degree of Polymer or Chemical Engineering
*  Have 2 or more years working experience
*  English: pass 4 grade, has the capability of oral and writing communication skill

Footwear (50% Role)/Leather with Lycra® (LwL 50%Role) Sales & Market Development Specialist - Technology Ventures (Business Development)

Location :   China/Guangzhou Office or Shanghai Office

Reports to: Global Business Manager Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing

Responsibilities:
*  Market development of royalty and non-royalty bearing programs with licensees for LwL applications
*  Account representative for tannery licensees in China (includes coordinating support for export demand)
*  Direct sales of Lycra® and other Invista® offerings associated with LwL and/or Footwear in China
*  Contributor on small (4-5 person) LwL business growth team, representing Asia.
*  Evaluate market opportunity, developing royalty bearing LwL Footwear Licensee Programs for China.
*  Evaluate market opportunity, developing non-royalty bearing pull through applications for LwL in garment, upholstery and/or automotive applications for China.
*  Work with Global Technical Leader to assess potential tanneries for LwL technology, develop outline for business case, get Confidentiality Agreements in place, develop terms sheet for negotiations, negotiate and put in place commercial trademark and technology agreements, and follow up to audit and improve royalty bearing sales.
*  Provide LwL market pull-though support for Footwear, Apparel, Upholstery and Accessories applications in China and for export.
*  Primary account representative to Lycra® customers, purchasing fiber primarily for Footwear.


Skills and Knowledge Required:
*  A college diploma
*  At least 2 years working experience in related field
*  Understanding and concept about trading
*  Able to work independently on sales & marketing in China.
*  Able to work based on communication & direction from a global team.
*  Fluent verbal and written communication capability in both English and Mandarin
*  Good computer application skill is a must
*  A team player with pleasant personality, hard working spirit, willingness to learn and take great challenges
